VISUAL INTIFADA
Visual Intifada is a record of activism and organizing in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for land, liberty, justice, and self determination. The pieces featured in Visual Intifada were created in community, and sponsored by local organizations and individuals in Sacramento, California. This act of love shows support and solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and in occupied Palestine. All the posters printed digitally and by hand were given to the masses at a multitude of rallies, marches, and protests primarily in Sacramento, California.

SOLIDARITY IN ACTION
Since October 2023, Sacramento organizations such as Youth 4 Palestine, CAIR, the Sacramento Regional Coalition for Palestinian Rights, ANSWER Sacramento, the Party for Socialism & Liberation Sacramento, CSUS SJP, and others have been organizing our community in support of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, occupied Palestine, and the diaspora. As 2023 ended, our struggle for a free Palestine continues in 2024. We demand a ceasefire and an end to the genocide being inflicted on Palestinians by Israel. The extreme cruelty, brutality, and genocidal tendencies by the IOF (Israeli Occupation Forces) have not been seen in decades. Together as conscious communities, we must end this horrific historical episode and stop the genocide of the Palestinian people and the devastation of their land by Israel.
Thank you NorCal Resist, Sol Collective, and community members for sponsoring two thousand posters for the masses in the front lines of the struggle for a free Palestine. Also, thank you to the volunteers that help silkscreen print all the posters at Sol Collective. Special shout out to Dean from Pressed Coffee + Records and Lupe Ríos from Relentless Maestrxs for their help and printing support.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP AND SUPPORT?
Get involved in your community with local organizations that are organizing rallies, protests, marches, fundraisers, and lobbying their city council to pass ceasefire resolutions to end the genocide happening in Gaza. Talk to your friends and family of what is happening in Gaza and how our taxes are supporting the genocide and occupation of Palestine by Israel. Take to social media and post, like, and share content to educate and inspire your followers to take action and be on the right side of history, on the side of the Palestinian people.
If you are an organizer, organize a solidarity event in support of the Palestinian struggle for rights, land, justice, and self determination in your community. Make sure to invite Palestinian organizations to your event to create space for them to address your community.
EXAMPLE: RAZA REZOS PARA GAZA
In Sacramento, I organized a Raza solidarity event with my carnalas Ruth Ibarra and Irene de Barraicua Sponsored by NorCal Resist. We invited Youth 4 Palestine to contribute their voices and their presence at this solidarity event. We started with a rally at Southside Park, and then we marched through downtown Sacramento and ended with another rally at Sacramento City Hall while the city council officials held their monthly meeting. Check out this video documenting the event by Mo Alagi:
BOYCOTTING AS AN ACT OF RESISTANCE
We understand that not everyone can make it to rallies, marches or protests, but you can still support the Palestinian struggle for land, justice, and self-determination without having to be in the streets. In your personal life, you can start boycotting companies that are profiting from the genocide of the Palestinian people. Below is a list of the companies that you should not support with your hard earned money:

SUPPORTING MUTUAL AID ORGANIZATIONS
Beyond your immediate community, you can support mutual aid organizations that are directly supporting the Palestinian people. You can donate funds as an individual or you can organize a fundraising event in your community and donate proceeds to a mutual aid organization.
