Hermosa Rebeldía features selected works that were used in the frontlines of the struggle for equity and social justice. The posters address issues related to unjust immigration laws, police brutality, Indigenous rights, educational access, Black Lives Matter, decolonization, Islamophobia, and other social issues affecting underrepresented communities. The works in the exhibition were created digitally and printed as single banners and as posters in editions ranging from 100 to 2500 copies over the past 15 years. These posters were given to the masses to visually enhance our collective voices in rallies, marches, and protests. The posters were distributed in Sacramento, Stockton, Santa Rosa, Oakland, San Francisco, Los Ángeles, and other cities in California, and the United States.
Hermosa Rebeldía has been exhibited at the Mexican Heritage Center in Stockton, Sol Collective in Sacramento, and at Sacramento State. It will also be exhibited in Santa Rosa in the near future. The traveling exhibit is sponsored by Nopal (Stockton), NorCal Resist (Sacramento), Sol Collective (Sacramento), and Raizes Collective (Santa Rosa).

HERMOSA REBELDÍA RECEPTION AT SAC STATE
Thank you to the Sacramento State University Union Gallery for documenting my “Hermosa Rebeldía” reception on Thursday, September 29th, 2022. It was great to be back at the campus where everything started for me as a Chicano artist committed to La Causa. The reception was especial, because a day earlier, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB2183, and the UFW peregrinos and vigil participants showed up to the reception to celebrate our collective victory.
